Who he is
Marcelo Vassalo is an urban-planning architect, graduated in 1995 from FAAP, a member of ABAP and of the Latin American landscape initiative (LALI), with almost 30 years of career. He has a rare background: he spent 18 years as Creative Director at the renowned practice Benedito Abbud Arquitetura Paisagística before opening his own, MVAP. He works with “high-performance” landscape design, biourbanism and nature-based solutions, with a strong focus on water management and green infrastructure.
