The neighbourhood’s story
Monte Mor is a municipality in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, in the interior of São Paulo state, served by the Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, about an hour from São Paulo and a few minutes from Campinas and Viracopos Airport. Like neighbouring Itupeva, its high-end country calling comes from its landholding structure: coffee and pasture farms that made it through the twentieth century intact and served as the basis for rural condominiums, stud farms and leisure subdivisions.
The case is geographic and climatic: the double proximity to Campinas and the capital, access via the Bandeirantes, and the cool mid-altitude nights. The municipality’s benchmark address in the top-end market is Haras Larissa, at km 114 of the motorway — a rural, equestrian condominium with an equestrian centre, a polo field and its own heliport.
Monte Mor: countryside and equestrian life an hour from São Paulo and minutes from Viracopos. Farms turned into high-end condominiums in the Campinas Metropolitan Region.
The surrounding area
- Clubs: the equestrian centres, polo fields, lakes and clubhouses of the region’s rural condominiums themselves, with Haras Larissa‘s facilities standing out.
- Schools: the reference offering is in Campinas; the audience is second-home owners and residents with a short commute along the Campinas–capital axis.
- Dining and lifestyle: the dining scene of Campinas and Indaiatuba, a few minutes away, and the in-house restaurants of the rural condominiums.
- Parks: the greenery is internal — reserves, lakes and native forest within the perimeters; outside them, the remaining rural landscape of the Campinas Metropolitan Region.
