Vila Uberabinha
The official neighbourhood the market usually calls Moema or Ibirapuera: streets named after birds a step from the park, where some of the city's tallest launches are being built.
The neighbourhood’s story
Vila Uberabinha is the registry name for a strip stretching between Avenida Ibirapuera, the Moema of the Birds and Vila Nova Conceição — territory that sales materials almost always advertise as “Moema” or “Ibirapuera”, for the drawing power of those names. It is a strictly residential area, tree-lined and with low through-traffic, with streets like Inhambu and avenues like Juriti and Sabiá lending the address the same bird alphabet as Moema. Proximity to Parque Ibirapuera and good road connections make it one of the most sought-after spots in the southern zone.
Being a built-out core, little free land is left; when a plot does open up, it tends to become a very-high-end launch, which explains the recent arrival of signature towers at the corner of Inhambu and Juriti.
