Labat

A São Paulo builder and developer from 1991, owned by the Labate family, based in the north zone, with ultra-high-end work in Perdizes.

Who it is

Labat Construtora e Incorporadora was established on 17 June 1991 and is based on Avenida General Ataliba Leonel, in the Santana district, in the north zone of São Paulo. Its main activity is building construction. The company’s name comes from the surname of partner Pedro Luiz Mônaco Labate, who appears as technical director in the municipal case files for the firm’s projects — including the one in our archive.

It is a low-profile company: it operates without an institutional website or published portfolio, and its output is traceable mainly through the City Hall’s approval case files.

Product vision

  • Positioning: construction and development of residential buildings in São Paulo.
  • Differentiators: more than three decades of continuous activity; the partner’s personal signature on licensing case files, indicating direct technical oversight rather than outsourcing.
  • Format of the archived work: a tall, narrow tower with one unit per floor, a generator sized to serve the apartments (not just the common areas) and full leisure amenities on a small plot.

Works

  • Sabel Pacaembu (Perdizes) — 22 units across 24 floors, 9,227 m² built on a 1,291 m² plot, designed by Israel Rewin for Sabel Incorporadora. Approved on 11 October 2008 and delivered in 2012.
