MAC

Forty-five years in São Paulo across ninety-four developments: MAC debuted in 1981 with a building in the Jardins and has never stopped describing itself by its 'high-end DNA'.

Who it is

MAC was structured in 1980 and completed its first development in 1981, with Montecarlo — 276 m² apartments with four bedrooms in the heart of the Jardins. From there, the firm crossed five decades of the São Paulo market without ever leaving the city: today it totals 94 launched developments, 89 delivered and more than 15,500 units in residents’ hands.

The 1990s and 2000s consolidated the brand in the luxury segment, with addresses the market still cites — Vila D’Este (1997) in Higienópolis, The Buckingham Palace (1997) in the Jardins, The Ritz (1999) in Vila Mariana, L’Éternité (2003) in Paraíso and the Domani line, in Moema and Pinheiros. In 2009 the firm broke its own record, with more than 3,500 units launched in a single year.

The following decade brought diversification — condominium-club, studios, São Paulo’s first coliving development (Loadd, 2018), the city’s first “resort park” (Raiz SP, 2019) and its first mixed-use project (Estilo Chácara Santo Antônio, 2024). In 2026, MAC announced the opposite move: returning to developing exclusively residential projects, with no studios and no shops, a declared return to what it calls its DNA.

Product vision

  • Positioning: high-end residential in São Paulo, with a portfolio historically concentrated in the south and west zonesParaíso, Moema, Pinheiros, Vila Mariana, Higienópolis, Jardins.
  • Method: projects handled “carefully and by hand, from the purchase of the land to the delivery of the keys” — the firm describes itself as owning the whole cycle, development and construction under the same roof.
  • A heavyweight partnership: in Vereda Paraíso, MAC shared development with Cyrela to make viable a 10,156 m² plot in Bela Vista — the former Palácio Pio XII, seat of the Metropolitan Curia. A scale neither would have managed alone with the same ease.
  • Range: the firm moved from classic luxury to coliving and smart studios over the decades, and returned to pure residential in 2026 — a rare history of publicly acknowledged repositioning.

Launches

  • Vereda ParaísoBela Vista, launched in August 2004 and delivered in September 2007, in partnership with Cyrela; four towers, 288 units, landscaping by Benedito Abbud.
