Who it is
The practice of Marcos Tomanik spans more than fifty years of activity in São Paulo, today under the name Marcos Tomanik e Sylvia Chaves, with three architect partners: Marcos Tomanik, Sylvia Chaves and Beatriz Megale.
The repertoire is broad and unusual for the city: residences, farms and horse farms, urban and rural gated communities, as well as residential and commercial buildings. It is a practice of signature design in the old sense — it works by client, not by product line.
In the archive, it signs Maison D’Orleans, in Jardim Paulista — a boutique building of seven units and eight floors, built by Adolpho Lindenberg.
