Adolpho Lindenberg
The engineer and architect who defended the classical against modernism and created the "Lindenberg style", an icon of São Paulo's high-end market.
Who he is
Adolpho Lindenberg (São Paulo, 1924 to 2024) was a civil engineer and architect who graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (1949) and one of the great names of São Paulo’s real estate market. In 1954 he founded Construtora Adolpho Lindenberg, through which he launched his first high-rise building in 1960 and helped convince the elite to trade mansions for luxury apartments. He died at 99, on the eve of turning a century old.
