Itamaraty Jardins

History

Itamaraty Jardins occupies Rua Ouro Branco, a low-traffic cul-de-sac in the heart of Jardim Paulista, between Jardim Pamplona Shoppingi and Clube Atlético Paulistanoi. Sales material places construction in 1990, with no second source confirming the year independently. The design’s authorship, the developer and the builder are not documented in a source that withstands scrutiny and, for that reason, are not attributed here.

• Concept: a single-block floor plan on a cul-de-sac in the heart of the Jardins — the discretion of a closed residential street, with shops and the club a few metres away.
• Trivia: the building’s penthouse has a pool, a barbecue area and views over Jardim América — a rare asset among the neighbourhood’s more compact floor plans, which rarely reach the rooftop with their own pool.

Jardim Paulistai is the traditional heart of the Jardins — tree-lined streets, the designer retail of Rua Oscar Freirei and the city’s largest concentration of award-winning dining, all within walking distance. Rua Ouro Branco, closed to through traffic, brings together a sequence of mid-to-upper-tier residential buildings built between the 1970s and the 1990s, a few metres from Jardim Pamplona Shoppingi, Clube Atlético Paulistanoi and Colégio Dante Alighierii. Living here means being on foot from the shops, the club and the school, on a stretch that passing traffic never reaches.
