History
Developed by Jal with Constrac and designed by Pablo Slemenson, Hóriz Ibirapuera rises about 300 metres from Parque Ibirapuera, in Paraíso, opening up a 270-degree view. It comprises two towers with flexible floor plans, with one of the most complete leisure programmes in the area.
- Concept: the open horizon of Ibirapuera, in a 270-degree view, translated into two towers with flexible floor plans.
- Trivia: the leisure area brings together a woodland with hammocks, a zen space with floating stations and a coworking space with meeting rooms.
Architecture and aesthetics
Pablo Slemenson‘s design is the opposite of the isolated tower: a 4,755 m² plot made it possible to place two towers and free up ground between them, and the 270-degree opening the building advertises is a consequence of that room to breathe — the 48-metre height limit authorised for the block sustains the view, and neither tower blocks the other’s horizon. The scale shows on arrival, with a covered vehicle porch, a double-height lobby and an armoured guardhouse making up an entrance of hotel-like proportions; pivoting doors and a biometric lock carry the same contemporary language right up to the units’ threshold. Inside, the floor plans are born flexible — the design allows for reconfiguration rather than imposing a finished one.
Aesthetics and scarcity
- Aesthetics: contemporary, facing the green of Ibirapuera.

Paraíso: the address
Rua Manuel da Nóbrega crosses Paraíso from end to end, parallel to Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, and number 1506 sits at its southern tip — the closest to Parque Ibirapuera, under four hundred metres away. It’s the stretch where the neighbourhood’s hinge clearly leans towards the green: whoever lives here treats the park as their back garden and Avenida Paulista as a destination, not as a neighbour. The trade-off is that everyday street life is close by: Jardim Pamplona Shopping under nine hundred metres away, schools of every level within the same few blocks and weekly markets on two different days. The neighbourhood’s metro service is generous — two lines cross at Paraíso Station and Brigadeiro Station covers the Paulista side —, but at this end of the street the car still shortens the way to the stations.
