Architecture and aesthetics

The name comes from the Greek for star, and the developer sums up the design concept in one word: lapidation. The language is the one aflalo/gasperinii has practised for six decades — modern, technical, clearly read, with the verticality and façade rigour that mark the firm’s output. Here it responds to a hard constraint: the plot measures 1,600 m² and is a corner lot, so height is what gives back size, light and view. There are twenty-eight storeys served by three lifts, with floor plans of 171 m² and duplex penthouses reaching 350 m², delivered with automation and electric-charging infrastructure in the private parking space. The corner of Domingos Leme and Afonso Braz is the crossing of the two streets that organise everyday life in Vila Nova Conceição — and the reason the developer calls the spot the neighbourhood’s best corner. From there you can walk to Praça Pereira Coutinhoi, the tree-lined square that works as the area’s collective living room, and the gate of Colégio Companhia de Mariai is a hundred and forty-six metres away. It is an address of an established neighbourhood, not a park-front one: Parque Ibirapuerai is just over six hundred metres away, while the service axis of Avenida Santo Amaroi, with Hospital São Luizi at five hundred, is closer than the greenery.
