Lindencorp
The development arm of the Lindenberg universe: the company created to handle the development that Dr Adolpho's construction firm used to do — and carry on the same brand.
Who it is
Lindencorp was established in October 2004 to bring together, under its own development company, business that its partners had already been carrying out since 2001 in close partnership with Construtora Adolpho Lindenberg. It is a company distinct from the builder — the division of roles is the point: Lindencorp develops, Construtora Adolpho Lindenberg builds and signs the style.
Dr Adolpho Lindenberg, founder of the builder — the firm that convinced the São Paulo elite to live in apartments and that has carried neoclassicism as its signature since 1966 —, sits on Lindencorp’s board. Adolpho Lindenberg Filho appears on the executive board. The company was later renamed LDI Desenvolvimento Imobiliário S.A. and remains based in Itaim Bibi; the two companies remain intertwined in their shareholding structure.
Product vision
- Positioning: high-end residential in established São Paulo addresses, within the aesthetic tradition of the Lindenberg brand.
- Differentiators: the division of labour between development and construction within the same family of companies; the neoclassical repertoire and façade design that identify the brand from a distance; and a preference for small plots on short streets, built vertically with very few units — one apartment per floor as the norm, not the exception.
Launches
- Lindenberg Jardim Paulista (2008, Jardim Paulista), nineteen floors and eighteen apartments on a 793 m² plot, designed by Adolpho Lindenberg, interiors by DP Barros Arquitetura & Design and landscaping by Neusa Nakata.
