Casa Leopoldo

History

Developed by Bolsa de Imóveisi, built by ACRYi and designed by Pablo Slemensoni, Casa Leopoldo takes on iconic status in the heart of Itaimi, steps from Faria Limai and Parque do Povoi. It takes the name of the street itself and is another chapter in the residential lineage that Bolsa de Imóveisi has maintained in the city since 1935 — this time without the classic repertoire of the château series, and with an unusual bet: delivering the apartment as a raw shell, so the house is decided by whoever moves in.

Architecture and aesthetics

The floor plan is square — and, with a single apartment per floor on a 1,365 m² plot, that means a full slab: no ventilation shaft in the middle and no shared wall with a neighbour on the same floor. The front is entirely glass: glazed curtains run the length of the whole living room, which gains cinematic proportions and, at night, turns the floor into a beacon over the city. The finishing does not come ready-made — the units were delivered with a screed floor, so the interior design is a decision made by the resident rather than an inheritance from the sales brochure, a rare choice in a building of twenty-one apartments. The intersection of Rua Leopoldo Couto de Magalhães Júniori with Rua Clodomiro Amazonas sits in the heart of Itaim Bibii, on the upper stretch of Leopoldo — the side that climbs towards Avenida Santo Amaroi, not the one that goes down towards the river.
