History
By Bolsa de Imóveis, with architecture by Marcio Cury, landscaping by Gilberto Elkis and interior design by Débora Aguiar, the Península is a 2007 neoclassical building in Moema, near Av. Hélio Pellegrino and Parque Ibirapuera, a few blocks from Vila Nova Conceição. With one apartment per floor, it features refined finishes.
- Concept: the low-density neoclassical building, with one resident per floor, in Moema.
- Curiosities: the living room has solid wood flooring, and the interior design is by Débora Aguiar.
Architecture and aesthetics
Fifty metres of frontage on a 1,714 m² plot: this proportion is what allows the single tower to be set with its entire face turned to the street, and everything else follows from it: one apartment per floor on the slab, with the gourmet terrace integrated into the living area rather than attached as a balcony, and the penthouse closing the building at 610 m². Finishing is a design decision, not a buyer’s option — the solid wood flooring in the living room is part of the building’s specification. The language is neoclassical, in the register that São Paulo’s high-end market practised in the mid-2000s. Interiors by Débora Aguiar and landscaping by Gilberto Elkis.

Moema: the address
Two names for the same address
The plot sits on the border between Moema and Indianópolis, and both names are legitimate. The postcode registers Indianópolis; the high-end market treats the address as Moema. This entry adopts the name in common use and keeps the other for anyone searching by it.
What distinguishes number 133 on Avenida Sabiá is not the avenue itself, but what it reaches within two blocks: Avenida Hélio Pellegrino, the road that stitches Moema to Vila Nova Conceição and to Parque Ibirapuera without passing through the commercial axis. It is a difference of routine — from here, you leave the neighbourhood on the residential side, not the traffic side. The green space is five hundred metres away; groceries come on two days of the week, both under four hundred metres away, at the Sunday market on Rua dos Canários and the Friday one, between Rua Tuim and Rua Inhambu. What is not close is the commercial axis: Estação Moema on Line 5 – Lilac is seven hundred and thirty metres away, and Shopping Ibirapuera a little further. This is the explicit trade-off of this address — being on the park’s side rather than the metro’s side.
