Voir Ibirapuera

History

The Edifício Voir Ibirapuera is a development by Conartesi, a builder based in Nova Lima (MG) with more than four decades in the market, which also builds in São Paulo. The tower is complete and occupied, on Rua Tutóia, about 400 metres from Parque Ibirapuerai. The architectural project is attributed to Israel Rewin by a single market source (a real-estate consultancy), without confirmation by a second independent source — for that reason it is not attributed here, and the exact handover date is also left open: the same consultancy publishes the building as completed in 2012 on one page and 2013 on another page of its own site, while another market source (Loft) independently points to 2012. Faced with a source that contradicts itself, the year is not entered.

• Concept: a single tower with large floor plans for the area’s standard, a short walk from the city’s most sought-after park.

Architecture and aesthetics

A single tower, with a façade the sales material describes as classical in style. The finishes cited for the units in circulation include a marble hall and balcony, a granite countertop kitchen, an L-shaped integrated gourmet terrace and a master suite with separate his-and-hers bathrooms — a repertoire typical of the early-2010s vintage of high-end buildings in the area. The architectural project’s authorship is not confirmed by two independent sources and, for that reason, is not attributed here.

Paraíso: the address

Two names for the same address

The lot sits on the border between Paraíso and Vila Mariana, and both names are legitimate. The postcode registers Vila Mariana; the high-end market treats the address as Paraíso. This page adopts the name in common use and keeps the other for anyone searching by it.

Paraísoi is the fold where Avenida Paulistai stops being an office avenue and becomes a residential neighbourhood. Rua Tutóia runs down from there towards Parque Ibirapuerai through a narrow residential fabric, sheltered from heavy traffic and yet right next to it: Avenida Nove de Julho, 23 de Maio and República do Líbano are all a few minutes away, and the park is a short walk away. It is the same street as Lindenberg Tutóiai, a few numbers further along — the area concentrated, in the same vintage, more than one large-floor-plan building for those who wanted Ibirapuera nearby without giving up the formal address of Paulista.
