History
From JHSF, São Paulo Surf Club brings together a club with the first artificial surf beach in São Paulo and a residential component, the São Paulo Surf Club Residences, on the banks of the Pinheiros River, facing the Ponte Estaiada. Riding waves in the heart of Real Parque, buyers of the residences secure access to the club through a membership.
- Concept: the urban resort with an artificial surf beach, where living and having access to the club go hand in hand.
- Curiosities: the wave pool is 220 metres long, with waves of up to 22 seconds, pale sand and coconut palms.
Architecture and aesthetics
The piece that organises this address is not the building, it is the sheet of water. São Paulo Surf Club is a club with a residential component, not a condominium with a leisure area — an inversion that shows in the siting: instead of towers with leisure tucked into a base, there is a beach and a wave pool occupying the heart of the plot, with the residences arranged around them. The view of the river and the Ponte Estaiada is the project’s second axis, and the scale of the floor plans matches the club’s, from 260 to 870 m² with three to four en-suites. The authorship of the architectural design is not publicly documented and, for that reason, is not attributed here, nor is that of the interiors or landscaping.
Aesthetics and scarcity
- Design: contemporary, ultra-high-end.

Real Parque: the address
Avenida Duquesa de Goiás runs through Real Parque, in the strip that separates the residential enclave from the corporate grid that grew up alongside it — and it is one of the few residential streets in the south zone with offices, a shopping mall and a station within walking distance. From number 571 it is a short walk to Shopping Nações Unidas and D&D Shopping, to Estação Chucri Zaidan on Line 17 – Gold and, in a little over a kilometre, to the Morumbi and Berrini stations on Line 9 – Emerald; Parque Bruno Covas and the riverside begin less than two hundred metres away. The window frame is the Ponte Estaiada, the visual landmark of this part of the city and much of the reason the stretch became a marquee address. It is a neighbourhood that is not explained by quiet: it is explained by adjacency — you live right next to São Paulo’s newest business hub, with the river and the linear park serving as a backyard.
