History
Granoscar is a development by Trisul on a corner plot between Avenida Indianópolis and Alameda dos Anapurus, with architecture by Perkins & Will, interiors by Patricia Anastassiadis and landscaping by Alex Hanazaki. The developer explicitly presents it as a continuation of its Oscar line — the same product family to which Oscar Ibirapuera belongs, on Rua Gaivota, also by Trisul and also designed by Perkins & Will. They are, however, distinct developments, at distinct addresses: the similar name is a product line, not a building relationship. Construction has already begun; the development can only be marketed after the incorporation memorandum is registered.
- Concept: the legacy of an icon raised to new heights — movement, transformation and permanence translated into a contemporary reinterpretation of Brazilian modernism.
- Trivia: it is the only project in the area with an official covered clay tennis court — an unusual combination, because clay requires maintenance and drainage that are rarely solved under cover. Each unit also receives a 17.60 m² office of its own private area, added to the apartment’s size.
Architecture and aesthetics
Perkins & Will started from a reading of Brazilian modernism and brought it into the present mainly through two gestures: the pilotis, which return the ground floor to circulation and landscaping, and the fluidity of the facades and base, which gives the volume an almost choreographed visual rhythm. The units’ openings are generous and the facade receives planters with hanging vegetation — the green climbs the building instead of staying tied to the ground. The central arrival plaza, conceived by Alex Hanazaki, is covered but lit and ventilated, with a water mirror in sculpted stone, and works as a transition between the street and the condominium. Interiors by Patricia Anastassiadis, with wood, stone and fabrics composing an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Indianópolis: the address
Indianópolis is the neighbourhood that stretches south of Parque Ibirapuera, between Moema and Avenida Ibirapuera, and is the official name of much of the territory the market usually sells as Ibirapuera. This address sits at the seam of the two readings: Avenida Indianópolis is the road that gives the neighbourhood its name and cuts across it end to end, working as an axis of circulation and commerce; Alameda dos Anapurus, which forms the corner, is one of the tree-lined alamedas with indigenous names that make up the quiet residential core. It is exactly the pairing that defines a good corner address in the area — avenue to go out, alameda to live in. Shopping Ibirapuera and Estação Eucaliptos on Line 5 – Lilac handle services and transport at a short distance, and the green horizon of Parque Ibirapuera is what the tower was designed to look at.
